Beyond the veil: Photography, Illusion and Storytelling

had the incredible opportunity to work with the Ikon Youth Programme (IYP) at Ikon Gallery to explore research and development for my photography project, which focuses on climate consciousness and connection through a philosophical approach. It was deeply rewarding to see my ideas interpreted with such enthusiasm, curiosity, and creativity by the young participants.

Through this experience, I was able to work in an educational setting—exchanging knowledge and opening conversations around the anthropological stressors impacting our planet. Through collaborative research, participants were encouraged to develop their own photographic interpretations for visual storytelling. Using collage and conceptual photography as tools for dialogue, we were able to explore complex environmental issues in imaginative and accessible ways. (December 2025 - April 2026)
